Dan Krieter is a Director in the BMO Capital Markets Fixed Income Strategy Group. His primary focus is the high quality USD spread market, ranging from the USD SSA/agency market to investment grade corporates. He also covers interest rate derivatives and the global transition from IBORs to RFRs, Dan has a special focus on sustainable fixed income investments and leads the Group’s research in this space.

Dan is part of the #1 ranked Federal Agency Debt Strategy team (Institutional Investor, 2019), and a regular contributor to the award winning podcast, Macro Horizons, delivering weekly and monthly updates on the Fixed Income markets.

Before joining the firm in 2007, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign. Dan received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2012 and is currently a member of the CFA Institute. He also holds series 7 & 63 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
